Why We Built ElderSafe
Areca Construction was founded in 2014 with a focus on quality residential renovation across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Over the years, we noticed a pattern: more and more clients were asking us to make their homes safer for ageing parents — grab bars, ramps, wider doorways, safer bathrooms.
We realised there was no dedicated, trustworthy service for this in Malaysia. Most families either hired general contractors who lacked the specific knowledge, or tried to DIY solutions that weren't up to standard. Falls and home accidents among the elderly are a serious, preventable problem.
So in 2023, we launched ElderSafe — a structured, transparent, and professionally delivered set of renovation packages designed specifically for elderly safety. Every package is scoped clearly, priced honestly, and delivered by our own licensed team.
